Pine Bluff Country Club, Pine Bluff, Arkansas Wedding Film by Sunflower Films
“Those that truly love have roots that grow towards each other underground, and when all the pretty blossoms have fallen from their branches, they find that they are one tree and not two.”
― Louis de Bernières, Corelli’s Mandolin
It was a beautiful Spring day when Mary Allison and Winston exchanged their vows in Pine bluff, Arkansas. Sunflower Films loved working with this sweet couple and filming both their Love Story and Wedding Day. They are two of the most genuinely nice people that we’ve ever had the pleasure of working with.
The day started with the bride and groom getting ready for the day at friends’ houses near Pine Bluff Country Club. You could feel the excitement in the air as their bridesmaids and groomsmen all prepared for the wedding. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room as Winston’s mother read a poignant letter to her son and future daughter-in-law. Mary Allison’s beaded lace gown was stunning, and we loved filming Winston’s reaction to his beautiful bride during the reveal.
The ceremony took place on the golf course of the Pine Bluff Country Club under a big and majestic oak tree. It served as the perfect alter for the couple to exchange vows surrounded by family and friends. The officiant spoke beautifully when he said “your life can almost be summed up in the gifts you give each other, but it’s not about the things that you give each other…it’s summed up in the gifts of love that you give.”
The reception took place in the Pine Bluff Country Club. Beautiful flowers, unique chairs and vintage dishes added to the charm of the evening. The toasts were made and the Maid of Honor and Best Man both spoke of their special friendships with the couple and how perfect Winston and Mary Allison are for each other. The couple had their first dance followed by special dances with the father of the bride and mother of the groom— classic tearjerkers.
Afterwards, DJ Jellybean with Central Arkansas Entertainment got the party started and had everyone out on the dance floor. He was as sweet of a person as his name suggests. We also enjoyed documenting the lovely couple’s night along side the talented photographers, Sheree and Bill Ramsey, of Ramsey Portrait Art from Atlanta, Georgia. The wedding coordinator, Devan Malone, kept everything on schedule and made sure things went smoothly throughout the day. Winston and Mary Allison ended the night with a fun balloon release as they said their goodbyes to their guests. The perfect ending to a perfect day.
